The hotel had rooms that were a decent size but smelled of damp, divided into gates areas - all named, and not ready at the stated time but the staff catered for every need. The service was friendly and helpful overall, though there were some issues with finding reception causing stress. The location was great, just 5 minutes away from amenities but uphill, and the dining was a bit disappointing with repetitive options. The facilities were satisfactory with some issues. The hotel overall offered mixed experiences.

My stay at Castillo Beach Bungalows was a mixed experience. The rooms could do with an update, and the all-inclusive food was not to my liking. However, the staff was friendly and the pools were great value for money.

I had a brilliant stay at this hotel! The rooms were spotless and had everything I needed for a quick getaway at a very cheap price. The location was extremely peaceful, away from the resort center but still within walking distance to bars and shops. The service was top-notch with always-ready-to-help staff and a great poolside ambiance. However, the dining options were a bit questionable, not what I usually look for when abroad.
